our story

In 2021, we felt a calling to lead a Christian youth revival-retreat in response to the growing spiritual, emotional, and mental struggles many young people were facing during the pandemic and the absence of regular church gatherings.

By God's leading, we prayerfully partnered with Christian leaders from the Tri-state area who carried a deep love for Jesus and a heart for the next generation. What began as a single retreat soon became an annual gathering where young people encountered the saving, transforming, and reviving power of Jesus Christ.

After five years of witnessing God move powerfully among youth, we sensed Him expanding our vision beyond one generation. While remaining committed to raising up the next generation, we also recognize the need to strengthen individuals, marriages, families, and the broader body of Christ. As the Lord leads, our desire is to create spaces where people of all ages and seasons of life can encounter the Holy Spirit, be equipped through God's Word, experience freedom and transformation, and become catalysts for revival in their homes, churches, and communities.

Though our mission continues to grow, our heart remains the same: to see lives transformed by the presence and power of Jesus Christ and for revival to impact generations to come.

Vision

CYRR envisions creating environments where people of all ages and seasons of life can truly encounter the living God and be transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Our heartbeat is to ignite a passion for Jesus Christ, cultivate deeper intimacy with God through His Word and the Holy Spirit, bring revival to individuals, families, and communities, and raise up disciples who will advance the Kingdom of God and impact future generations.

Mission Statement

CYRR exists to ignite people of all ages with the love and truth of Jesus Christ. As a non-denominational Christian ministry rooted in both the Word of God and the work of the Holy Spirit, our mission is to help individuals encounter the living God, walk in their true identity as sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father, grow in deep intimacy with Jesus through His Word and Spirit, and be equipped as disciples and spiritual leaders who impact their homes, churches, communities, and future generations for the Kingdom of God.

Core Beliefs

We believe:
  • One God, eternally existent in three persons (Trinity): God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
         (1 Cor. 8:6, John 10:30, Matt. 28:19, 2 Cor. 13:14)
  • Scripture (Bible) is inspired by God, therefore authoritative, inerrant, and infallible.
         (2 Pet. 1:20-21, 2 Tim. 3:16, John 17:17, 1 Thess. 2:13)
  • Deity of Jesus, virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, death & resurrection of the body, ascension to Heaven (seated at the right hand of God the Father), and His return to earth to reign in power & glory.
        (Heb. 1:8, Matt. 1:18-25, Heb. 4:15, John 20:30, Rom. 6:8-11/8:34, 1 Thess. 4:16-17)
  • Jesus is the only way to salvation.
         (John 3:16, 36/14:6, Acts 4:12, 36, Rom. 10:9, 1 Tim. 2:5)
  • Salvation is by faith through grace and not by works.
        (Eph. 1:7/2:4-9, Rom. 5:6-8/11:5-6, 15-17, Titus 2:11/3:4-7, Gal. 2:21/5:4)
  • Through Jesus Christ, God offers forgiveness of sins to all who genuinely repent, which is turning away from sin that is accompanied by a transformation of the heart and mind, with the help of the Holy Spirit.

    (Mark 2:17, Luke 24:46-48, 2 Cor. 7:10, 2 Pet. 3:9)
  • The Holy Spirit, which is one of the three persons of the Trinity, enables spiritual transformation & salvation, empowers believers for service, guides and comforts, provides spiritual gifts for the church body, illuminates Scripture, fosters prayers, produces spiritual fruit, and unifies the body of Christ. It is God's active and personal presence in the lives of believers, enabling them to live out their faith and grow in their relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
        (John 14:26, Acts 1:8, Rom. 8:26, Gal. 5:22-23, Eph. 1:13-14, 1 Cor. 12:4-7, Titus 3:5-6)
